Thracian Gladiator Helmet – 18 Gauge Steel

Thracian Gladiator Helmet, armed in the Thracian style with small rectangular shield called a parmula and a short sword with a slightly curved blade called a sica. Used with the intention of maiming an opponent’s unarmored back. His other Armour included armored greaves, a protector for his sword arm and shoulder, a protective belt above a loin cloth, and a gladiator helmet with a plume, visor and high crest.

This Thraex Gladiator Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge steel with well cast brass accents. The protective mask is secured with brass pins and can be removed. A hinge on the two-part mask keeps it closed.

The blackened interior of the helmet is unlined. Included is a cotton padded arming cap.
