Roman Mainz Caligae – Brown
The caligae is the roman soldier shoe, used until the second cent, where it was replaced by calcei, except in hot countries.
Made after a founding in Mainz.
Made of one piece of leather, cut to form the typical straps, and sewed on a thick sole, it comes with its hobnails. Made of vegetal tanned leather

Really like these boots. I know normally when I buy shoes or boots online I usualy got to order one size up to get the right size, which I did, but these would have been true to size if I ordered them normally so they are a little big on me. Not the boots fault, but my own ahaha. Totally recommend them though. May reorder with my proper size next time lol
