Roman Cavalry Helmet with Brass Mask – 18 Gauge

This Roman Cavalry Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge steel and thoroughly embellished with brass accents, edging and a hinged face plate of brass. The interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined and the mask is backed in leather for heightened comfort – included is a padded cotton arming cap which can be worn beneath the helmet to provide cushioning and comfort. Integrated rings on the cheek plates allow for a the cheek plates to be tied and fastened into position around the chin – a leather cord for this use is included.
