Chainmail Lorica Hamata – Alternating Wedge Riveted Rings
This Lorica Hamata is made from alternating wedge riveted, flat, mild steel rings that have been finished with a zinc coating. Every row of links that have been riveted is followed by an alternating row of non-riveted, integrated links. This is done to bring down the man-hours required to create this armor and bring down its cost to the consumer. The shoulder pieces are lined with leather and the chest hooks are made from brass.
