This iron chainmail riveting tool is ready to be used to rivet together your own chainmail project. It is intended to be used with flat mail rings which are dome-riveted to seal and secure the links. The long grip gives plenty of leverage for clamping down on the rivet and its rough-forged construction is period appropriate.
