These being my very first mail chausses, I was eager to try them out but uncertain if they would fit well, whether they would restrict my movement or not. Turns out they fit very well indeed, and I can bend my legs and walk around just fine. And since they’re aluminum, they are not heavy at all! I will need to tie the foot flaps to my shoes on Ren Faire day just so they don’t move around too much, but overall these chausses work and look great! And I was honestly stunned by how quickly they arrived all the way from Europe!
