Our Roman Auxiliary Infantry B Helmet is based on an original bronze Roman helmet found in the Rhine at Mainz. This mid 1st century AD auxiliary helmet has a simple design and the lack of a crest mount is the reason this helmet is classified as a Roman Auxiliary Infantry helmet.

This Roman Auxiliary Helm is crafted from 18 gauge brass; the hinged cheekplates have two integrated rings with which to tie a chin strap onto (chin strap not included). The inside of the helm is blackened and unlined; included with the helmet is a separate padded cotton arming cap.
