Medieval Gambeson With Short Sleeves is a type of quilted armour which is a simple variation of an early gambeson. It will work perfectly as a medieval gambeson on or under armour. It’s an essential part of a set of armour and allows you to freely adjust the protection level. A gambeson is the most basic piece of equipment you’ll need in order to get started with historical medieval battle. Armor begins from padding; it serves as a shock-absorber between your body and steel armor.

Nicely built recommend this product

I made a mistake with my sizing but that was MY error. The skirt itself is perfect. I am going to try to deconstruct/reconstruct it myself to make the waist smaller.

My husband loves it though it’s not a perfect fit. He’s 2m and has a long upper body, the last clasp of the gambeson closes somewhat between his chest and his waist. The product pictures show the last clasp closing on the waist. But as the gambeson is not completely custom tailored this difference is perfectly fine. :)
