The term Gladiator was derived from the (Latin: gladiators, which meant swordsmen or one who uses a sword or gladius). Gladiators were professional fighters in ancient Rome who fought against each other, condemned criminals and wild animals. They sometimes fought to the death, for the entertainment of spectators. These fights took place in arenas in many cities from the Roman Republic period through the Roman Empire. Our Gladiator Helmet is made from brass. Fully wearable.
